Christmas 2009 was fantastic. I am sad to see it end. The kids got all sorts of new toys, including a Nintendo Wii. The boys on any given day are up at 5:30 or 6 am. Christmas morning(go figure) they decided to sleep in and Sissy had to wake them up! It was our first Christmas without Pookey, and also without Hub's Dad. They were both in our thoughts and hearts on Christmas Day. We had Christmas dinner over at our friend's house, and enjoyed yummy food and time spent with company.
The kid's at Christmas Eve mass..
The kid's up early, and waiting anxiously to open their gifts.
All gifts open, and kid's are happy!
I am 26 weeks pregnant today (Sunday Jan. 3rd).
This pregnancy so far is so similar to Girly's pregnancy that it is scary.
The weight gain. With the boys, I only gained in my stomach. With Girly and this one..it's everywhere but my stomach..lol
Cravings for iced tea and cheeseburgers.
The constant ache of my tailbone (which was broken in 5th or 6th grade and never healed properly).
The Braxton Hicks contractions that have started already.
And the best thing..(sarcastic) my boobs are already starting to leak. That's right. 3 months ahead of schedule.
I have a feeling that Little Dude is not going to hold out until April 12th. Just like Girly, I believe he will be early.
Let's wait and see what exciting things Little Dude brings us through the next 3 months.

23 Weeks
Today was my 23 week appointment. Dr. Tan did another ultrasound to check the sex..He is officially boy!!!
We have come to a decision on what Little dude's name will be. But on here he will be known as Little Dude. He was all over the place today, and very willing to show his parts for us. As soon as I can pry the picture out of Hub's hands, I will post a picture. Right now, he is at work showing off his boy's privates!! lol
Little Dude's heartbeat was strong and he looked healthy and active. At one point during the ultrasound he was even stroking his own head. It was amazing to see.
In 2 weeks I have to do the lovely gestational diabetes test. That is always fun. Then after this next appointment, I am due to start my bi-weekly appointments already. How time flown by.
The heartburn has gotten unbearable and Dr. Tan was able to prescribe me some medication to help. I can't sleep and everything I eat causes that fiery feeling in my stomach and throat. I guess if this is the trade off for not throwing up 24/7, then I'll take it! lol But I am keeping my fingers crossed that the medication works and I will once again be able to sleep comfortably. Well as comfortable as you can get with a humongous belly!
Aside from Little Dude..Girly is doing well. She is having allot of fun with cheer-leading and is enjoying being the flyer of her team. Her first performance is this week for her school pep-rally. She is also doing well in school, although there is much to be desired when it comes to missing work. I am hoping over time she gets her butt in gear and gets things done. Although I think she is at that age where hormones are taking over..it's a bit frustrating!
Crazy Boy is doing awesome in Kindergarten. We went to his parent/teacher conference last week and he is getting all 4's. 4's mean above average work. His reading and writing is spectacular. What gets me is now that he can spell and read some..he can tell what we are saying when we try to spell stuff out. lol So when we talk about possibly getting I C E C R E A M.. he now knows what we are talking about! lol
Baby Boy is doing well too..his speech is still lacking, but after the 1st of the year he is having a complete audiology exam. His pediatrician seems to believe he has a hearing problem which is causing his speech delay. He will be starting preschool next fall so I want to make sure we figure out what the problem is before then. He gets very frustrated when we do not know what he is talking about. Poor guy. But other then that he is still the most loving, affectionate little boy. He does this thing with his hands when he gets excited. It's like he has so much pent up excitement that his little hands just wont keep still. So now when his hands start spazzing he throws them up and gives everyone the I love you sign with his hands. He is my little lovey bug.
Christmas is right around the corner. Everyone here is ready and waiting. Christmas break for the kids starts next week. Our tree and decorations have been up since Thanksgiving and the kid's get more excited every day. I love this time of year. I love to sit in the living room, once the kids have gone to bed, and sit with all the lights off. Except for the tree and my candles. It is truly beautiful and relaxing. It really is the most wonderful time of year!
