My Girly Girl is 13. Officially a teenager. I swear each year I say the same thing, but it seems the time is going by faster and faster. She is getting more and more beautiful with each year and she is becoming the young lady I always knew she would be. I am so grateful that each day she hugs and kisses me and says I love you still. I am not looking forward to the day she will not want to do this for fear of embarrassment, but am keeping my fingers crossed that the day will never come. She will always be my sweet little girl.
Uncouth: 1. Crude; unrefined. 2. Awkward or clumsy; ungraceful. 3. Archaic Foreign; unfamiliar. I'm only crude, unrefined and ungraceful when I have nothing better to say!

Five Minutes of Funk
Little Dude is 5 months. He is the biggest, chubbiest, smartest little guy. He is all smiles all the time. He is already scooting himself across the floor using his back legs. He cannot lift his upper body yet, but before we know it, he will be. He rolls like crazy too. He is very vocal, and instead of screaming when he wants something, he grunts and groans and growls. He is in a size 4 diaper already and I am assuming he is at the 20 lb mark. He is eating cereal now..and loves to have banana in it. He loves his brothers and sister and demands their attention whenever they are around and not talking to him or playing with him. He has discovered his toes now, and loves to grab them and try to eat them. His favorite thing right now though, is the ceiling fans. He loves himself a good ceiling fan. He is the sweetest baby. I am so lucky he chose me for his Mommy!
Girly and Crazy started school last week. It went fantastic. The silence in the house is almost deafening when I get home from dropping off Baby Boy at preschool. It took me a week or so to get over not having anyone here, but now I have come to appreciate it, and realize it gives me 1 on 1 time with my Little Dude.

Summer Days
I am a bit behind, but figured I would post a few pictures anyways. Here is Little Dude at 4 months old (8-2-10)...and Baby Boy's 1st Day of Preschool (8-23-10). Unbelievable how time flies. Baby Boy did fantastic. I, on the other hand, was a mess. He did cry and yell for us when we left, but soon settled down. I did not want to leave him and the house felt very lonely without him here. I am so used to having him skipping around, and doing his normal stunt man antics. Very quiet and sad. The other 2 start next week. Baby Boy is now going to school 4 days a week for 3 hours a day. He will continue with his speech therapy at school and I know soon, he will be speaking clearly with ease. I know he will do fantastic and I have high hopes that everyone there enjoys his presence and silliness as much as I do.
Little Dude is now a rolling fool. He is on his back, then on his tummy in a matter of seconds. He is even trying to crawl. He gets up on his back feet and pushes himself forward. He is growing much to fast.
My 3 boys! I love their range of expressions..crying and sad to happy and smiling to "huh?" LOL All my lovable, sweet boys, but oh so different in personalities.

My not so little, little girl chopped 11 inches off in early August for Locks of Love! I am so proud of her and we all love her new do...She is getting to be such a young woman and is turning 13 next month...yikes!

Aug 16-22 Grammy came to visit...here is one of the silly photos that was taken before she left..

The First Time
On the 3rd, we took a trip to Huntington Beach. It was Baby Boy and Little Dude's 1st time being at the ocean. What a wonderful, and memorable day. We went to take Hub's father to his final resting place...the Pacific. We had so much fun.
The 4th of July was also another 1st for Little Dude. He ate and slept most of the time, but did spend a few minutes in awe of the beautiful lights and colors.
Little Dude is growing like a weed. He turned 3 months on the 2nd. I tear up thinking about how fast he is growing and how before I know it he wont be my chubby faced little baby. I swear he is growing faster then any of the other kids did. He is smiling up a storm now, especially when Daddy changes him and lets him "air out". He tries so hard to laugh, but they still come out sounding like a little cough. He is such a good sleeper too. He goes down around 10:30 or 11pm and doesn't get up till around 6. Even then, after he eats he tends to go back down for another hour or so. He's a champion nurser and I am sure he has gained another 4 pounds since his 2 month appointment.
It is summer break. Girly and Crazy are home for 2 months. We shall see how much hair I have left after. lol

Keep Rollin, Rollin, Rollin
Little Dude has been busy today. Every time I put him down on the floor, or bed he has been rolling over to his stomach. He can't get that 1 arm out from under him though. He then kicks himself back onto his back. Granted, almost every time has been when he is throwing one of his little fits because I put him down and am not holding him.

Working in Twos
Little Dude is 2 months old today. He is such a sweet baby. He is sleeping through the night, eats a bazillion times a day, cries endlessly from 7pm to 10pm, and smiles the sweetest smile whenever his brothers come around. When he is disturbed while nursing,he lets out these groans and growls like a bear. He also can almost roll himself from back to belly. He is growing so quickly.

School is over in 2 weeks! I will then have an 8th grader, a 1st grader and a preschooler. Wow..makes me feel old. lol
6-9-10
Little Dude had his 2mth shots today..he did great. He received 1 in each leg. He screamed bloody murder for about 5 seconds and then resumed nursing. I insisted she do the shots while he was nursing since I heard that it helps comfort them and relieve some of the pain. It definitely seemed to help. He weighed 11 lbs 1 oz and was 22 inches long. What a big boy!

If 6 Was 9
Today Crazy turns 6! He loves to play football, Wii, Bakugon, and Legos. So far, he is the first of our children to place an object up his nose and have to go the ER to have it removed..lol..but I am sure he will not be the last. He is stubborn, determined, dramatic, emotional, loving, caring, and our very "crazy" little boy. Happy Birthday sweet boy!

New Soul
April 1, 2010 was my 38/39 week appointment. All went well, baby looked great, but still no progress in the dilation/cervix area. She told me I am still high and closed tight and she did not want to strip my membranes until my next appointment.
That evening we made a stop at Walmart to pick up a few things, then went to go to eat around 7pm at IHOP. We ate, got our check, and boom....about 8pm, my water broke..LOL. Right there in the IHOP booth during dinner. We immediately got up, paid the bill, then headed home so I could change. Since I was not contracting or in any pain, we decided to call our friend to pick up the kids and wait around at home for a while instead of having to sit in the hospital. Around 10 pm we went to the hospital. We got checked in, and I was checked out. I was dilated to 2. I was taken right into a labor room to get started on Pitocin because my cervix was not thinning. After 8 hours of labor, I was dilated to a 5. But still not thinning. I was being shoved from one side to the other because baby's heart rate kept dropping. I finally gave in and said lets do the epidural. By the time the anesthesiologist came in, I was told we did not have any time, and they wanted to do an emergency c-section. Allot of what was said and done is a blur to me. I was in allot of pain and very, very scared. I absolutely did not want a c-section. But no was not an option. The baby was in allot of distress. I was rushed into the O.R. I will not forget the experience. The way the docs and nurses sounded, hearing my OB talking to me and reassuring me everything was going to be OK, my arms and legs being strapped down and being so cold..all the while still having contractions. It was the scariest thing I ever experienced. Before getting knocked out, I remember telling them to make sure they give the baby to Hubs. He had to go directly to Hubs. I remember praying that everything go OK. Then that was it. I wake up to nurses talking and asking me if I was in any pain. I remember saying yes, I hurt and my throat hurts. Then she assured me she was giving me something for the pain. The next thing I remember is being in the recovery room and Hubs said they were bringing the baby to me. He was absolutely beautiful. Beautiful and healthy. They told me his cord was wrapped twice around his neck which was the reason for his failing heart rate and why my cervix was not thinning. Because of the cord, he was not able to descend into the birth canal. But he is healthy and beautiful and a survivor.
He is the sweetest baby. All 10 fingers and 10 toes. He was born on April 2nd, weighed 7lbs. 3oz and was 18.7 inches long. He was also born on his Great Grandfather's birthday.
We were discharged from the hospital Easter morning. Hubs had picked up the kids Sat. night so he could spend Easter morning with them, then they came to pick me up. What a great Easter gift. To bring home our new baby.
The kids love their new little brother. They cannot keep their hands off of him. He is a wonderful addition to our family.

Baby Mine
I am so ready for this little one to come. This past week has been nothing but contractions, massive heartburn, aching back and tailbone and sleepless nights. I don't know if I would even be able to make it to my due date without going absolutely insane. We have taken several long walks lately, but they haven't done much good. I am walking around like a mad woman cleaning constantly and never just sitting down to relax. My dreams are getting more and more strange, but have the same theme...going into labor. The swelling in my feet has gone down quite a bit, which is good. My next appointment is Thursday, so I will wait again to see if anything has progressed. I am tempted to set up an inducement date, but am eager for the excitement and anticipation of him coming on his own. I will once again, try to sit back and relax and let this little one join us in his own time. But, I'm not saying there wont be some bitching and moaning along the way!
